Richard Blake
Richard Blake is a partner at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where he practices corporate and securities law with a focus on public company representation, corporate governance, and public offerings. He has represented public and private clients across a broad range of industries, as well as investment banking and venture capital firms, and has been lead counsel on IPOs listed in PitchBook's "Top 10 U.S. VC-backed IPOs" for five out of the last six years.
Teresa Briggs
Teresa Briggs serves on the boards of directors of ServiceNow, Snowflake, DocuSign, and Warby Parker. She is a member of the audit committee for each company and is the audit committee chair of ServiceNow, DocuSign, and Warby Parker. Teresa is a Stanford University Distinguished Careers Fellow and is on the teaching team for the Stanford LeanLaunchpad course. She currently serves on the board of trustees at the University of Arizona and is a facilitator for the Santa Clara Black Corporate Director Readiness program. Teresa previously served in various leadership positions over her 37-year career with Deloitte LLP.
Glenda Dorchak
Glenda Dorchak is a seasoned operating executive focused on board and advisory work with technology growth companies. She serves on the boards of ANSYS (ANSS), Wolfspeed (WOLF) and Global Foundries (GFS). She has served on seven prior boards including Mellanox (acquired by nVidia), Quantenna (acquired by ON Semi), and Mirametrix (acquired by Lattice Semi). She has been an operating advisor to OMERS Private Equity and BDC’s Industrial, Clean Tech and Energy Fund, and serves on the board of the non-profit San Jose Museum of Art, where she was President for the past three years. Her business experience as a corporate executive at Intel, IBM and Spansion as well as CEO of three technology companies, VirtualLogix, Intrinsyc and Value America, have established her deep understanding of the opportunities and challenges in technology-enabled businesses. She is a very engaged director committed to the working with management and the board to support the strategic and operating initiatives that will unlock enterprise value and drive growth.
Jack Lazar, moderator
Jack Lazar is a public and private company CFO, GM and Corporate Development executive with experience managing Operations, Finance, Accounting, Investor Relations, Corporate Development, Business Development, HR, Legal, Sales Operations, Program Management and IT functions. Completed three IPOs and been the CFO at 4 public companies and 1 private company (that was eventually sold). Board member and advisor for two companies while completing their IPOs. Raised over $4 billion in financings and executed ~$15 billion in M&A transactions. Experience in multinational operations (Asia and Europe) and profitably growing companies from the start up phase to over $1 billion in revenue. Implemented global ERP systems, SOX infrastructure and integrated multiple acquisitions. Managed multiple companies with $1 billion + market capitalizations. Extensive experience dealing with buy and sellside investors.Currently board member at 4 public companies where he serves as either a member or chair of a variety of committees. Sold several public companies at significant premiums in public to public M&A transactions. Serves on the Santa Clara University Finance and Advisory Boards.
