WEBINAR: Lessons Learned for Boards of Directors: Theranos vs. Headspin

VIEW WEBINAR

As a follow-up to the recent SVDX webinar around the debrief of the Elizabeth Holmes trial, we are pleased to present a special session featuring Professor Joseph Grundfest around lessons learned for Boards of Directors around two high profile companies in the news. Both Theranos and Headspin have faced wire fraud charges and are excellent examples of how companies and their leadership have dealt with the challenges of fraudulent schemes and SEC enforcement. But what does it mean for those who sit on the boards? Professor Grundfest and Dan Siciliano will talk about the internal investigations, the actions and the cooperation on the part of the companies, and the commitment to good governance (or lack thereof), and what it all means for boards of directors. With so many headlines focused on management, what can boards learn from these high profile cases and their own role in good corporate governance?
