200+ S&P 500 companies scrubbed 'diversity' and 'equity' from annual reports in 2025

Following up on the recent SVDX session on diversity in June 2025, it was recently reported that more than 200 S&P 500 companies scrubbed words such as "diversity" and "equity" from their annual reports in 2025, and nearly 60% fewer S&P 500 companies are using the phrase "diversity, equity, and inclusion."
