Kathleen is a corporate partner in the Silicon Valley office of Latham & Watkins and is Co-chair of the office’s Corporate Department. Kathleen has represented public and private companies across several industries, venture capital firms and investment banks. Her practice focuses on corporate and securities law, and her transactional experience includes numerous public securities offerings, venture capital financings and mergers and acquisitions. Her general company representation expertise includes advising boards of directors regarding corporate governance matters, public company disclosure issues and federal and state securities law compliance, assistance with company formation and startup matters, employment matters and equity incentives.

Kathleen received her JD from Stanford University Law School in 2001, and her BA from the University of Arizona in 1996.

Kathleen is the Silicon Valley office partner representative on the firm’s mentoring committee and previously served on the firm’s recruiting committee. Prior to attending law school, she was a management consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
